Virgin Media customers who already subscribe to Sky Entertainment channels will receive Sky Atlantic for free starting next month. This addition includes popular shows like “Heated Rivalry,” “Under Salt Marsh,” “The Last Of Us,” and “Amadeus.” The update will roll out to Virgin TV 360 and Stream box users on April 1.
To access Sky Atlantic content, customers simply need to tune in to channel 111 on the Virgin TV platform. Additionally, the content will be available on-demand and through the Virgin TV Go service.
David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, emphasized the value of offering seamless entertainment by adding Sky Atlantic to their lineup. He highlighted the gripping drama and compelling stories featured on the channel, which will now be enjoyed by over a million Virgin TV subscribers at no extra cost.
In related news, Sky has unveiled a new Ultimate TV plan that includes premium channels such as Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the upcoming HBO Max app. Priced at £24, the plan will be accessible on Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms.
Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, Sophia Ahmad, described the Ultimate TV plan as a significant step forward, bringing together Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu under a single subscription. This integration marks a new era for Sky and NOW, offering a comprehensive entertainment experience to viewers.
