“Man Jailed for Unusual ‘Breastfeeding’ Retaliation”

Date:

An individual described as “fixated” engaged in an unusual incident where he purportedly received nourishment from a 60-year-old woman, allegedly motivated by a desire to retaliate against his own mother.

According to reports presented in court today, Michael Jones, a 32-year-old resident of Caernarfon, Wales, defied a restraining order by contacting the woman. Despite being prohibited from interacting with her due to a previous assault incident, Jones encountered her on three occasions during the summer, one of which involved the described act of “breastfeeding.”

This action led to a violation of the restraining order, resulting in a Caernarfon Crown Court judge sentencing Jones to a 15-month prison term. Jones had admitted to causing the woman grievous bodily harm without intent, for which he received a suspended 16-month jail sentence.

During the court proceedings, it was revealed that Jones had multiple encounters with the woman in July. The woman expressed her desire to end the relationship and halt further communication with Jones, characterizing their dynamic as resembling that of a mother and son, while Jones referred to himself as a caregiver.

Prosecutor Amy Edwards detailed Jones’ admission of developing animosity toward women and a peculiar fixation on the woman’s breasts. Subsequent meetings between Jones and the woman in July included consensual kissing and an instance where Jones purportedly breastfed for a duration of 10 minutes, citing a desire to defy his mother as the reason behind his actions.

The woman acknowledged the unusual nature of their interactions but considered it a part of their relationship. However, a subsequent incident on July 14, where Jones reportedly prevented the woman from leaving his residence after requesting her presence, prompted her to seek refuge with a friend out of fear.

Jones later disclosed these clandestine meetings to his probation officer, who alerted the authorities. The woman reported a deterioration in her health due to the stress induced by the situation.

In a statement, the woman expressed concerns about Jones’ fixation on her and the potential dangers it posed, citing previous experiences. Jones’ defense attorney, Dafydd Roberts, mentioned that Jones had redirected his attention due to a new relationship, while implying the woman’s willingness to engage with Jones despite her claims of harm suffered.

Judge Her Honour Nicola Jones acknowledged the woman’s active participation in the events and highlighted Jones’ mental health issues and repeated breaches of the restraining order. Consequently, Jones was sentenced to 15 months in prison.
