The popular series “Heated Rivalry” continues to add more talent for its upcoming second season. The Canadian-produced hockey drama has enlisted three new stars to join the cast.
Following a successful first season with global acclaim, the show’s lead actors — Hudson Williams, Connor Storrie, and François Arnaud — have seen their careers soar. The latest additions to the cast include Ukrainian-American actress Milla Jovovich, known for her roles in “Resident Evil” and “The Fifth Element,” Kevin Zegers from Woodstock, Ont., and Paul Gross, a prominent figure in Canadian film and television.
Inspired by Nova Scotia author Rachel Reid’s “Game Changers” books, “Heated Rivalry” chronicles the hidden romance between two rival hockey players, Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov. The new season will feature Paul Gross as league commissioner Roger Crowell, Kevin Zegers as Coach Wiebe, and Milla Jovovich as Dr. Galina Molchalina.
The cast also includes Canadian talents like Charlie Gillespie, Daniel Diemer, Emily Hampshire, and Priyanka. The show, created by Jacob Tierney, has garnered significant attention and is expected to premiere its second season in Spring 2027 on Crave.
