Virgin Media customers in the UK are benefiting from a new service upgrade known as Smart Support, which is being provided at no additional cost. This service, available 24/7, aims to ensure seamless internet connectivity throughout the year. Smart Support automatically monitors broadband performance and promptly assists customers facing speed or connectivity issues, offering immediate solutions to keep users online and prevent disruptions during activities like streaming or working from home. Additionally, Virgin Media can remotely fix issues overnight, ensuring minimal disruption to customers during the day. In more severe cases, the service can recommend and provide WiFi Pod or Hub upgrades, with the option for customers to schedule an engineer visit at no extra charge. Gareth Lister, Director of Connectivity at Virgin Media O2, highlighted the importance of reliable connectivity and the company’s commitment to keeping customers connected with fast solutions. Virgin Media has confirmed that Smart Support is being rolled out to all customers without any extra fees.
