A British individual deemed a “traitor” to the country was seen in a video setting fire to his UK passport while expressing derogatory remarks.
Aiden Minnis, a resident of Chippenham, Wiltshire, showcased what appeared to be a promotional video supporting the Kremlin. Minnis, aged 38, had previously publicized receiving both a Russian passport and a bravery medal from Vladimir Putin.
In the recent video, Minnis, sporting a beard and openly expressing his disdain for his homeland, declared in front of a Russian tricolor flag: “My British passport. There’s new anti-legislation, anti-terror legislation in the United Kingdom. [It] says they can withdraw and revoke citizenship to anyone that participates in anything they deem as a threat to their country.
“So consider my passport revoked, consider it rescinded, and consider it that I do not want it anymore. You can kiss my a**. So, f*** you, Great Britain. Slava Rossii [Glory to Russia].”
Following this, he can be observed firing a large rifle into the air as the video concludes. Over a year ago, Minnis stated: “I have a Russian passport. I am now Russian.”
It is important to note that the document Minnis displayed, an internal identification indicating citizenship without validity for international travel, would not shield him from legal action and imprisonment in the UK or extradition back to the country if he ventures to the West. He had previously vowed to persist in dispatching deceased Ukrainians and English mercenaries “in wooden boxes”.
The process of granting Minnis citizenship was expedited by Kremlin-affiliated propaganda outlet Readovka and politicians in the Russian republic of Udmurtia, where the Kalashnikov gun-manufacturing plant is located, in collaboration with Putin supporters. Minnis, a former substance abuser, who formerly acclaimed Putin as “the greatest politician on earth,” journeyed to Ukraine last year, identifying himself as both a “Z Patriot” and a “sapper in the Russian army”.
Minnis faces potential imprisonment for terrorist activities if he ever returns to what he labels a “fascist state” of Britain. He has already served time in British prison for a violent racially motivated assault.
