Andrew Tate is gearing up for his debut in Misfits Boxing against heavyweight champion Chase DeMoor later this year. Tate, aged 38, brings experience from a successful kickboxing career but had to retire early due to multiple eye injuries affecting his final matches.
The influencer had hinted at a move to boxing in recent months, considering potential opponents like Darren Till and Roy Jones Jr. However, it has been confirmed that Tate will face DeMoor, the 29-year-old reigning heavyweight champion who defended his title against Natan Marcon in August.
Although Till missed the opportunity to fight Tate, the former UFC title challenger is likely to appear on the undercard against an opponent yet to be announced. The event, named Misfits Mania, is set to take place on December 20 at the Coca Cola Arena in Dubai, with the main card anticipated to begin around 6pm UK time.
The fight between Andrew Tate and Chase DeMoor is scheduled to be the main event, with Tate expected to enter the ring around 9pm UK time. The broadcast details are yet to be disclosed, but it is confirmed that the fight will not be on DAZN as in previous Misfits shows and will probably be on pay-per-view.
In his statement, Andrew Tate emphasized his role as a “disruptive force” in sports entertainment and mentioned taking over KSI’s company after an incident three years ago. The full fight card will be released closer to the event date.
