“Iceland’s Aurora Igloo Offers Affordable Northern Lights Experience”

Date:

A plethora of travel destinations cater to various types of vacationers, from those seeking relaxation on sunny beaches to adventurers craving exciting activities. Iceland stands out as a favored spot for tourists due to its breathtaking natural features like volcanoes, glaciers, black sand beaches, and thrilling outdoor pursuits like whale watching.

Many travelers are drawn to Iceland, particularly to witness the spectacular Northern Lights, a phenomenon best observed in this Nordic island nation. While Iceland is often perceived as a pricey destination, some visitors choose to reserve it for special occasions rather than regular getaways.

One British traveler, Charlie, discovered a unique yet affordable accommodation option during his Icelandic trip. He opted to spend a night in a glass igloo provided by Aurora Igloo in the quaint town of Hella in southern Iceland. Charlie shared a TikTok video showcasing the igloo nestled in snow, complete with a comfortable bed, curtains, and cozy lighting.

His overnight stay cost approximately £200, allowing guests to marvel at the Northern Lights under the clear night sky. Charlie, who uses his annual leave for thrilling adventures, described the experience as nothing short of magical.

In his social media post caption, he envisioned the enchanting scenario of lying in bed while the Aurora Borealis danced overhead, surrounded by Iceland’s rugged landscapes. The igloo-style cabins offer a blend of modern comforts, cozy interiors, and an unparalleled view of the starry sky.

Aurora Igloo guests have the option to choose between standard and private igloos based on their preferences. Both types feature a double bed, heating, and charming decor, with standard igloos sharing bathroom and shower facilities located nearby, while private igloos offer exclusive private bathrooms.

Charlie’s TikTok clip has garnered thousands of views, likes, and numerous comments. One travel agent in the comments section mentioned that their clients had a delightful stay in these igloos. Another viewer shared their own amazing experience staying in one recently, while a third viewer considered it a great alternative to Lapland.

Impressed viewers left comments like “Wow! Looks incredible,” “that’s hella beautiful,” and “this is on my bucket list.” Charlie recommended booking a stay at Aurora Igloo through Booking.com, with midweek prices starting around £200 and higher rates on weekends.
