“Trump Objects to Time Magazine Cover, Calls It ‘Worst of All Time'”

Date:

US President Donald Trump made headlines worldwide for his efforts to broker peace in Gaza, but he strongly objected to a magazine cover featuring him. Following his visit to Israel for hostage releases and a recent ceasefire deal, Trump joined 20 other world leaders in signing a declaration in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.

Time magazine released an issue praising the events as ‘His Triumph,’ highlighting his administration’s endeavors to secure peace. However, Trump was displeased with the cover photo, showing him in a serious pose wearing a navy suit, white shirt, and red tie. He criticized the magazine on Truth Social, calling the picture the “Worst of All Time” due to what he perceived as hair manipulation and a strange angle.

Describing the cover as “really weird,” Trump questioned the magazine’s choice and expressed his dissatisfaction with the image. The article itself commended the deal as a potential highlight of Trump’s second term and a strategic shift for the Middle East, emphasizing the administration’s meticulous efforts to achieve the ceasefire in a contentious region.

Despite his discontent with the cover, Trump has a history of appreciation for Time magazine, having been featured on its cover multiple times, including as Person of the Year. While he once expressed disappointment at not being selected for the honor, Trump has acknowledged the magazine’s significance and impact on his life.
