Ryanair Expands Alicante Routes: Cardiff and Aberdeen included

Date:

Ryanair introduces two fresh UK routes to a vibrant Spanish city with pleasant 20C weather in November. The airline reveals its expanded Alicante schedule, now offering 79 routes from the Spanish base, including new destinations like Bratislava, Linz, and Salzburg. Notably, Ryanair now operates direct flights from Cardiff and Aberdeen to Alicante, with affordable tickets starting from £22 in December.

Alicante’s appeal extends beyond its weather, with 300 days of sunshine annually attracting European golf enthusiasts to its renowned courses like Las Colinas and La Finca. The city’s blend of old and new architecture, shaped by post-war restoration efforts, offers a unique sightseeing experience. The iconic Castle of Santa Bárbara overlooks the old quarter, hosting traditional events like the Festival of Moors.

Visitors can explore Alicante’s charming streets, diverse dining scene, and popular promenade, La Explanada de España. The city’s efficient tram system makes it easy to navigate between attractions, including the bustling Playa del Postiguet beach. Food lovers can indulge in local delicacies at eateries like Santa Gloria and Bar Cento, or opt for British-inspired fare at Browns.

Whether you seek cultural exploration or beach relaxation, Alicante promises a memorable getaway with its rich history, picturesque landscapes, and inviting atmosphere.
