An urgent search is in progress following a stabbing incident involving a teenager on the seafront in Worthing. The event unfolded when three teenagers, one armed with a knife, were seen pursuing another teen along Marine Parade. Bystanders attended to an 18-year-old man who sustained a hand injury before being transported to a hospital.
The suspects, described as white individuals in black hoodies, fled towards the west along Marine Parade. Authorities swiftly reacted to the situation, warning the public of an increased police presence in the vicinity later in the day.
Investigations are ongoing as Neil Walker from Worthing CID stated, “We are at the initial stages of our inquiry and urge anyone with relevant details to come forward. If you witnessed the incident or noticed any suspicious behavior in the area during that period, please contact us through the provided channels.”
