“Escape to Festive Fun: Holiday Parks Offer Pre-Christmas Breaks”

Date:

As the holiday season approaches, finding time for all the festive activities in December can be a daunting task. From meeting Santa to enjoying Christmas markets and quality family time, the month always seems too short.

For those seeking a more relaxed alternative, many holiday parks are now offering special breaks leading up to Christmas. While traditionally associated with summer vacations, these parks are now welcoming guests in November and December for holiday-themed getaways.

Each park has its unique offerings, ranging from Christmas-themed performances to visits to Santa’s grottos and even the inclusion of a Christmas tree in your accommodation. These breaks provide an excellent opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of pre-Christmas preparations or to gather with extended family members in a different setting.

Wondering which holiday parks will be hosting festive activities and what experiences they have in store?

Haven, for instance, will open nine of its locations for pre-Christmas stays, including Craig Tara, Seton Sands, Devon Cliffs, and more. Accommodation options range from caravans to lodges, each adorned with a Christmas tree. The parks will be festively decorated and offer entertainment throughout the day and evening, including pottery making and festive activities. Additional highlights include a Jack and the Beanstalk pantomime and special Christmas dining options.

Parkdean Resorts will provide a “Winter Wonderland experience” at six parks in December, featuring a range of festive activities like Festive Milkshake! Mornings and family pantomimes. Visitors can also enjoy all-inclusive options, including meal packages and festive activities, making for a stress-free holiday experience.

Center Parcs will transform into a Winter Wonderland during the festive season, offering enchanting experiences like the Enchanted Light Garden trails and visits to Santa’s Workshop. Festive dining options and additional activities such as elf parties and Christmas crafts will also be available.

Butlin’s offers a family-friendly Christmas break with inclusive visits to Santa, themed entertainment, and Christmas movie screenings. The parks will be adorned with festive decorations, and guests can enjoy a variety of activities and dining options tailored to the holiday season.

Away Resorts will host Winterfest at five of its locations, promising a magical winter wonderland experience with festive shows, activities, and delightful dining options for the whole family.

These holiday parks provide a unique opportunity to celebrate the festive season in a different setting, creating lasting memories for you and your loved ones.
