Now in its sixth year, the Electric Sunsets event pays tribute to two influential decades in pop culture, providing guests with an immersive journey filled with nostalgia, entertainment, and performances by top artists from the 80s and 90s. The lineup for the 2027 voyage will be revealed in the coming months.

Previous editions of the event showcased renowned acts such as B*Witched, The Honeyz, DJ SASH!, and Ibiza in Symphony. The upcoming three-night cruise aboard Marella Discovery will depart from Palma on April 28, 2027, stopping at Valencia and Ibiza before returning on May 1, 2027, offering guests a series of themed parties, live entertainment, and 80s vs 90s-inspired activities throughout the ship.

Marella Cruises’ CEO, Chris Hackney, expressed excitement about the return of the themed cruise, highlighting the enduring appeal of the 80s vs 90s music battle. The all-inclusive trip includes flights, transfers, tips, and service charges, with prices starting at £799 per person for the Electric Sunsets 80s vs 90s cruise, available for booking starting October 30, 2025.

For travelers interested in extending their vacation, a limited number of cruise-and-stay packages will be offered, featuring accommodations in Majorca at select hotels like Alua Soul Mallorca Resort, Astoria Playa Hotel, and Hotel Son Matias Beach.
