EE has introduced new SIM plans designed to address a common issue faced by many customers – running out of data while on the go due to increased file downloads and streaming activities like Netflix. The latest pay-as-you-go SIM cards from EE will now come with a complimentary feature called “Data Parachute,” offering users an automatic 1GB data boost when they unexpectedly run out.
According to EE, the Data Parachute feature aims to keep customers connected, allowing them to communicate with friends, use mapping services, and navigate until they can recharge their data allowance. These new plans, starting at £10 per month, also come with additional benefits such as data rollover, where unused data is carried forward to the next month, and free data boosts to enhance customers’ data allowances.
Furthermore, EE pay-as-you-go customers can access the 5G network for improved performance and faster speeds. The pricing for the new plans is as follows:
– £10 for 20GB
– £15 for 75GB
– £20 for 150GB
– £30 for 200GB
– £35 for Unlimited
While EE’s Data Parachute sets it apart, there are competitive offerings in the market. For instance, SMARTY provides 80GB for £8 per month or Unlimited data for £20, and Giffgaff offers 75GB for £10 monthly and 60GB for £13. It is recommended to compare deals and select a plan based on individual data needs to manage costs effectively.
