Luke Littler joked that he might consider participating in the I’m a Celebrity jungle if a substantial £50 million offer came his way, despite being somewhat put off by this year’s show. The 18-year-old darts sensation has been closely following the current season to support his friend, Angry Ginge, whose appearance on the ITV program sparked speculation about Littler’s potential involvement.
When asked about the possibility of joining the show, Littler mentioned that he would entertain the idea for the right price. However, he has since revealed that after witnessing the challenges on the show, he has second thoughts about venturing into the jungle with hosts Ant and Dec.
In a recent interview with talkSPORT, Littler expressed his hesitation, stating that the extreme challenges showcased on the program have made him reconsider his initial interest. Despite initially rejecting the idea for £10 million, he admitted that a staggering £50 million offer might make him think twice.
Referring to the daunting aspects of the jungle experience, Littler mentioned his aversion to snakes and similar challenges as reasons for his reluctance. Although he teased the possibility of considering the offer, he quickly dismissed the notion with a playful remark.
While Angry Ginge prepares for his upcoming bushtucker trial, Littler gears up to defend his title at the PDC World Darts Championship, set to commence at Ally Pally next month. As the reigning world champion and newly crowned world No. 1 in darts, Littler aims to replicate Gary Anderson’s feat by retaining the prestigious Sid Waddell trophy, starting his defense with a match against Darius Labanauskas on December 11.
