During an interview with AI Arabiya’s English channel, Johnson revealed his positive outlook on AI, emphasizing his satisfaction with ChatGPT’s complimentary remarks such as “clever” and “brilliant” when interacting with the AI chatbot. He mentioned his use of AI for writing multiple books, expressing delight in the process and the affirmations received from ChatGPT.
Transitioning from his political career to authorship and media appearances, Johnson has stayed in the public eye, notably with his memoir “Unleashed,” which delves into his tenure as Prime Minister. Despite receiving a substantial advance for his book, he faced disappointment as a gut health recipe guide outsold his memoir, impacting his book sales figures.
Known for his journalistic background, Johnson faced scrutiny for allegedly missing essential Covid meetings to work on a book about Shakespeare during his time in office. Reports indicate a book deal with Hodder & Stoughton in 2015 for a significant sum. Former colleague Dominic Cummings suggested that Johnson grew disinterested in his leadership role shortly after the 2019 election victory, leading him to focus on writing.
