By the evening, conditions are expected to stabilize across much of the UK, while north-west Scotland may still experience winds of up to 80mph. Yellow wind warnings have been issued for Cornwall, parts of Devon, and western Wales, starting from tonight until tomorrow afternoon. Additionally, yellow rain warnings are in effect for the same regions, extending into Somerset and Dorset.
Residents in Lancashire and Cumbria are advised to heed the yellow rain warning in place until the afternoon. The Met Office has warned of continued unsettled weather this week as people prepare for the upcoming Christmas holidays.
