Travelers using the train can find the nearest railway stations at Lydney, Chepstow, and Gloucester, although taxi ranks are not available at Lydney and Chepstow stations, so pre-booking a taxi is recommended.
Operating hours for Puzzlewood are from 10 am daily in September and October, with the last entry at 4 pm. In November, the woodland is open only on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays from 10 am, with last entry at 3 pm.
Entrance fees apply for visitors, with adult tickets priced at £9.90, children at £8.50, and children aged 2 and under admitted free of charge. Concession rates are available for adults at £8.90 and children at £7.50.
