“Marks and Spencer Brings Back Rosé Mulled Wine”

Date:

Marks and Spencer is known for its exceptional Christmas feasts, and they have just reintroduced a popular festive drink after a ten-year hiatus. Despite the end of summer, the enjoyment of rosé wine continues year-round, as Marks and Spencer has introduced a new Rosé Mulled Wine, offering a lighter and fruitier alternative to traditional mulled wine. The supermarket initially launched a mulled rosé ten years ago and has responded to the increased demand for rosé by bringing back this winter favorite in pink.

In the previous year, Marks and Spencer reportedly sold over 100,000 bottles of rosé in the week leading up to Christmas, indicating a significant rise in rosé consumption beyond the summer season. The Rosé Mulled Wine, crafted in Germany, features flavors of zesty orange, vanilla, and classic mulling spices, providing a fresh twist on the traditional festive beverage. Maddie Love, Product Developer at Marks and Spencer Food, emphasized the versatility of rosé wine throughout the year and highlighted the appeal of the Rosé Mulled Wine for cozy autumn days, suggesting pairing it with a warm mince pie.

As part of their festive offerings, Marks and Spencer has opened bookings for their Christmas Food To Order service, allowing customers to reserve their preferred collection date at a local store and select items for their festive celebrations. Customers are required to pay a £50 deposit upon securing a slot, with the remaining balance settled during order pickup. Additionally, Marks and Spencer has unveiled their Christmas 2025 menu, featuring 90 unique dishes and exclusive items not available elsewhere, including turkeys, party food, vegetarian and vegan options, and decadent desserts.

Customers can explore and purchase these festive delights on the Marks and Spencer website and through Ocado. The menu includes gourmet selections inspired by Michelin-star chef Tom Kerridge, such as the Collection British Fillet of British Beef Wellington, alongside other centerpiece options like the Handcrafted Turkey & Stuffing Pie and Build by Numbers Charcuterie and Antipasti Grazing Platter. Vegetarians and vegans can also indulge in offerings such as the Butternut Squash, Brie, and Caramelised Onion Wellington, Plant Kitchen No Turkey Crown, and Bubble and Squeak Vegetable Stacks.
