The MacBook Neo stands out with its colorful design, impressive performance, and a high-resolution 13-inch screen priced at just £599. This marks a significant price drop compared to the latest MacBook Air, which was also revealed this week.
Powered by Apple’s A18 Pro-series smartphone processor, the Neo may not match the speed of M-powered PCs but is fully capable of meeting daily digital demands. Running macOS, it provides access to popular applications like Microsoft Word, Pages, and iMovie.
With over 15 hours of battery life, the MacBook Neo is highly efficient. It includes two USB-C ports but lacks MagSafe charging. Additional features comprise a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, Touch ID fingerprint scanner, dual side-firing speakers supporting Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos, a Magic Keyboard, and Multi-Touch trackpad.
Available in Silver, Indigo, Blush, and Citrus color options, the MacBook Neo is open for pre-orders now and will hit stores next week. Apple’s senior vice president of Hardware Engineering, John Ternus, expressed enthusiasm for the new laptop, emphasizing its affordability and unique features that set it apart from other devices on the market.
