“Lewis Hamilton Expands Creative Ventures Beyond Racing”

Lewis Hamilton is expanding his creative endeavors beyond racing by developing a TV show concept and working on a couple of animated films through his production company, Dawn Apollo Films. The seven-time world champion played a significant role in bringing the hit F1 film to the big screen.

Hamilton’s passion for diverse projects outside of racing has been evident, with the 40-year-old showing interest in music production and now venturing into the cinematic world, with the F1 movie marking his initial significant contribution to the industry.

The success of the F1 film was remarkable, grossing £479 million ($629 million) globally and becoming the highest-earning sports film ever, surpassing Pixar’s Cars 2.

In an interview with The Ferrari Magazine, Hamilton expressed his satisfaction with the project, highlighting his deep involvement in the film’s creation process. He collaborated closely with director Joe Kosinski and contributed to the production from start to finish, including engaging with renowned figures like Hans Zimmer.

Following the triumph of the F1 movie, Hamilton’s Dawn Apollo Films remains active in the film sector, with the British driver already planning upcoming productions.

Hamilton shared his enthusiasm for storytelling, emphasizing the importance of inspirational narratives, particularly in challenging times. The racing icon mentioned his interest in comedy and revealed plans for a television show, along with working on multiple animated movie concepts, emphasizing quality over quantity in line with filmmaker Quentin Tarantino’s approach.

Sky has recently enhanced its Ultimate TV and Sky Sports bundle to include popular streaming platforms like HBO Max, Netflix, Disney+, discovery+, and Hayu, along with extensive coverage of 135 channels and Formula 1 events.

Hamilton also discussed the significance of creativity alongside his racing career, emphasizing the need for a balanced approach to energy deployment and finding sources of inspiration to maintain a positive mindset. The British driver is currently aiming for a podium finish with Ferrari in the ongoing 2025 F1 season, where the team is locked in a tight battle for the Constructors’ Championship title against Mercedes and Red Bull, holding a slim one-point lead over their rivals.
