“Women’s Block Counters Far-Right Rally in Central London”

Date:

Sangita Myska, a renowned figure in journalism, recently shed light on a disturbing event in central London on September 13, 2025. The rally, led by Tommy Robinson (real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon), a well-known anti-immigrant and Islamophobic advocate and convicted criminal, attracted a massive crowd of over 100,000 supporters.

While not implying that all attendees were racist, it was evident that the rally drew individuals with racist views. The speakers at the event advocated for extreme measures such as the repatriation of immigrants and the exclusion of all religions except Christianity. Elon Musk, the world’s wealthiest individual, endorsed the rally via video, urging the audience to “fight back or die,” despite his immigrant background and past illegal employment in the US.

The surge in support for Tommy Robinson reflects a global trend of far-right populism, fueled by figures like President Donald Trump. Trump’s divisive rhetoric on immigration, religion, and nationalism has normalized extremist dialogue, enabling movements like Robinson’s to gain traction in the UK.

During the rally, Robinson prominently displayed a Trump flag and led chants in support of the former US President, emphasizing their ideological alignment. In response, approximately 5,000 counter-protesters, including the Women’s Block, united against intolerance and Robinson’s agenda, continuing a legacy of British women standing up against fascism and far-right ideologies.

The Women’s Block rejects the notion that safety lies in blaming immigrants or restricting religious freedoms. They advocate for solidarity, justice, and equality over authoritarianism disguised as patriotism. Robinson’s rhetoric, under the guise of protecting children and British culture, conceals a fear-based political strategy.

The Women’s Block’s steadfast stance on September 13 signifies a commitment to resist manipulation, silence, and identity co-optation by divisive forces. They stand united with various groups in promoting an inclusive, united Britain that celebrates diversity and rejects prejudice. As history shows, British women have consistently fought for equality and social justice, regardless of race, religion, or origin.

While Tommy Robinson may claim to represent the nation, the Women’s Block, with its unwavering principles, truly reflects the conscience of the people. Their stance on that pivotal day will be remembered in history.
