Bargain expert Jordon Cox has shared a clever method to uncover a “hidden code” that indicates when a discount is about to end at Tesco.
Known as the Coupon King on ITV’s This Morning, Jordon regularly offers money-saving advice on social media. In a recent video, he disclosed that products on Clubcard Price promotion display a six-digit number revealing the deal’s expiration date.
By decoding the number sequence that starts with 25 in reverse order and grouped in twos, shoppers can determine the day, month, and year when the offer ends. This tip allows savvy consumers to plan ahead and stock up before the deal expires, saving money on their shopping trips.
Meanwhile, Tesco is reminding customers to utilize £16.5 million worth of expiring Clubcard vouchers before the deadline on November 30. With Clubcard points earned for grocery purchases, fuel, Tesco Mobile usage, credit card spending, and Clubcard Pay+ debit card transactions, shoppers can accumulate points to exchange for vouchers worth £1.50 at Tesco. Currently, over 24 million UK households hold a Tesco Clubcard.
Tesco’s Group Membership and Loyalty Director, Shama Wilson, emphasized the importance of redeeming vouchers promptly, highlighting the value of the expiring vouchers this quarter. Utilizing the vouchers for rewards like cinema tickets at Cineworld or dining experiences at PizzaExpress can maximize their worth, encouraging customers to check their Tesco app for any expiring vouchers.
