Former President Donald Trump has admitted to being extra cautious to avoid the same embarrassing situations as his predecessor did during his time in office.
During a rally with Navy sailors, Trump criticized Joe Biden for his well-known incidents of stumbling while walking up steps and ramps. Trump, who was addressing the sailors at the US Navy’s 250th anniversary celebration in Norfolk, Virginia, expressed gratitude for their service before delving into self-praise and attacks on his political rivals.
Referring to Biden’s falls and stumbles, Trump remarked, “The chances of him walking down those stairs successfully were not good. And I have to be careful because one day I’m gonna probably fall.” Biden, who is 78 years old, faced multiple public falls and slips, including one in front of Air Force One.
During the Navy event, Trump emphasized the importance of taking precautions while moving on steps, stating, “I always say, walk down the steps nice and slowly. You ever notice? I don’t have to bop down the stairs. Walk nice and slowly.”
Furthermore, Trump claimed at the same event that he had foreseen the 9/11 terrorist attacks and could have prevented them if his warnings had been heeded. He asserted, “Please remember I wrote about Osama bin Laden exactly one year ago, one year before he blew up the World Trade Center.”
Trump’s statements about his alleged prediction of the 9/11 attacks and his cautionary approach to stairs were part of his address to the Navy personnel, where he also criticized the media for not acknowledging his supposed foresight regarding Osama bin Laden.
