Authorities suspect that she took her own life at Walt Disney World and sustained severe physical injuries. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office clarified that the misinformation circulating online regarding her death, including being struck by the monorail, was inaccurate.
Contrary to rumors, Ms. Equitz did not come into contact with the monorail. The sheriff’s office labeled the case as a suicide without further elaboration. Summer’s untimely passing occurred amidst significant life events, such as her honeymoon at Walt Disney World with her spouse and her pregnancy announcement last year.
