Tesco has announced a special offer for Clubcard members this December, giving them double points for every £1 spent on gift cards. The promotion is valid throughout the month and applies to third-party gift cards purchased at Tesco stores.
This means that when customers buy any gift card from Tesco, not limited to Tesco gift cards, they will automatically receive double points credited to their Clubcard account.
According to Ban Mahsoub, Partnerships Director at Tesco Insurance and Money Services, this offer provides a great opportunity to find the perfect Christmas gift while earning rewards for oneself. The promotion is seen as a win-win situation for shoppers.
Tesco currently has approximately 24 million Clubcard members who earn points in various ways, such as through grocery purchases, fuel bought at Tesco petrol stations, Tesco Mobile spending, and Tesco credit card transactions. Clubcard points can also be earned by using a Tesco Clubcard Pay+ debit card.
To redeem Clubcard points, members need to accumulate a minimum of 150 points, which can be converted into vouchers worth £1.50 for spending at Tesco stores.
