“Students Score Freebies with A-level Results”

Date:

Thousands of students will be receiving their A-level results today, and regardless of the outcome, there are numerous freebies up for grabs. To take advantage of these deals, students typically need to present their results paper along with their student ID. Most offers are valid for dine-in or takeaway orders only and may not apply to third-party delivery services. It’s advisable to check with individual restaurants to confirm if they are still offering A-level results promotions.

A-level and AS results have been released for students in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland on August 14, with GCSE results scheduled for August 21. Last year, 27.8% of UK A-level entries achieved an A or A* grade, showing a slight increase from the previous year. Meanwhile, students in Scotland operate under a different qualification system and received their results last week.

In addition to A-level results, many students will also be receiving vocational technical qualifications (VTQs) this month. Level 3 VTQ results, such as BTecs, will be disclosed to students on or before August 14. Results for Level 2 VTQs are expected by August 21.

Various restaurants are offering enticing deals to celebrate A-level results. Nando’s is providing a 1/4 chicken or starter with a purchase of £7 or more, while Frankie & Benny’s is giving away 50 free margherita or pepperoni pizzas when you buy a large soft drink. Las Iguanas is offering free churros, Bella Italia is providing a free starter and dessert with any main purchase, and Bill’s is offering a free dessert with any main order. Bird & Blend is giving out a free matcha latte, and Proper Burger is offering a free burger from their Proper Burger menu upon displaying A-level results. Côte Brasserie is giving away a free dessert and a £10 voucher, with additional perks if you passed a French exam. Pizza Express is offering complimentary dough balls with any main meal, and Zizzi is providing various freebies, including Mozzarella and Garlic Bombes, starters, desserts, drinks, or a meal worth up to £150 upon showing your results.
