It is unequivocal that violating laws, regardless of the offense, should result in the loss of freedom – whether the sentence is served in confinement or not. Consequently, the government will empower courts to impose stringent community penalties that limit offenders’ liberties beyond prison walls.
Similar to incarcerated criminals forfeiting certain privileges, those on community sentences must also make sacrifices. For instance, as the new football season commences, many enthusiasts look forward to stadium experiences as a highlight.
However, individuals causing disturbances in society might soon face stadium bans, isolating them at home while their peers enjoy the matches. Likewise, the prospect of vacations and leisurely pursuits could be curtailed. Offenders harbor dreams of summer escapes, yet stringent enforcement measures would swiftly thwart any such attempts, with probation officers having the authority to re-incarcerate transgressors. This initiative aims to punish wrongdoers for their actions and safeguard victims.
The implementation of new restriction zones will confine the most severe offenders to specific areas, ensuring that victims can move freely without fear of encountering their assailants.
