“Sky Launches Free Ad-Supported Streaming Channels”

Date:

Sky has introduced new channels for its subscribers at no extra cost. The Free Ad-supported Streaming Television (FAST) channels offer a variety of content including sports, documentaries, and art. These six new services are accessible on devices such as Sky Glass Gen 2, Sky Glass Air, Sky Stream boxes, and older Sky Q gadgets through the Xumo Play app.

Users do not need to update or retune their devices as the channels will automatically appear. The new channels cover a range of interests, from sports to animal lovers and art aficionados. Some of the highlights include Sky Sports Classics, Sky Sports Vault, Sky Sports Stories, Pick Monkey Rescue, Emergency 24/7, and Sky Artist of The Year.

For easy access, viewers can use voice search on their remotes to find the desired channel. In addition to Sky’s new offerings, Virgin Media has also launched two free channels, British Screen Classics and wedotv movies, for Virgin TV 360, Stream, and V6 box users. These channels feature a selection of movies and TV shows for entertainment.
