“Quality Street Unveils Mystery Sweet for Festive Season”

Date:

Quality Street is set to bring some excitement to this year’s holiday season with the introduction of a new limited edition sweet. However, in a unique twist, the flavor of this new sweet will be kept a secret until December. This mystery confection will be exclusively available at John Lewis and Waitrose stores across the country and will be featured in the pick and mix stations that are making a return for the festive period.

Alongside the classic lineup of 11 beloved Quality Street favorites, the mystery sweet will give shoppers the opportunity to craft their own customized tin. Coffee Creme enthusiasts can also look forward to Coffee Creme gift cartons at John Lewis and Waitrose locations nationwide, with the sweet also being part of the pick and mix selection at the Oxford Street store.

Rachael Mundy, Marketing Manager for Gifting & Seasonal at Nestlé Confectionery UK & Ireland, expressed excitement about the mystery sweet, noting that the decision to keep the flavor under wraps adds an extra element of anticipation for customers. She looks forward to seeing the reactions and guesses from the public.

Lisa Cherry, Christmas Buying Manager at John Lewis, shared her enthusiasm for the return of Quality Street to their stores for Christmas 2025, highlighting the added intrigue of the mystery sweet. The personalized ribbons and vintage-inspired baubles at the pick and mix stations are expected to enhance the festive experience for families as they try to guess the new flavor while creating unique tins for their loved ones.

In a new offering for this year, customers at selected John Lewis stores can personalize tins by printing gift ribbons with names and personalized messages. The brand has also introduced a simpler tin design with the personalized ribbon option and a choice of five Quality Street baubles, inspired by vintage designs.

The flagship pick and mix station at John Lewis Oxford Street is already open, with other stores rolling out the festive display throughout October. Participating locations include various cities, offering the opportunity for customers to enjoy the unique experience of creating their own personalized Quality Street tins.
