Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman and her spouse, country singer Keith Urban, have allegedly separated after being married for 19 years. TMZ reported that the couple has been living separately since the start of summer, with Keith having his own place in Nashville now. Nicole, 58, has reportedly been looking after their children and holding the family together while Keith, 57, has moved out in an attempt to salvage their relationship.
The Mirror has contacted representatives for Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban for their comments on the situation. The pair tied the knot in 2006 after meeting at the G’Day USA Gala the previous year. Despite a rocky start where Keith took his time to call her back, they got married in Sydney, Australia, and later moved to Nashville.
Their family expanded with the birth of their daughters, Sunday Rose in 2008 and Faith through surrogacy two years later. Before Keith, Nicole was married to actor Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001, during which they adopted two children.
Keith Urban’s recent tour forced him to be away from his family, and he expressed his passion for performing and connecting with the audience. In a separate interview, he mentioned how Nicole is an essential sounding board for his music, valuing her reactions and his own feelings when sharing new songs with her.
It’s indicated that the separation comes at a challenging time, following Keith Urban’s busy schedule and time apart from his family.
