“New Look Launches Club New Look Loyalty Program”

Date:

New Look has introduced its inaugural loyalty program offering exclusive discounts to members.

Club New Look is a complimentary membership with benefits such as weekly “Club Prices” on selected items, early access to sales and promotions, and participation in member-exclusive competitions.

Upon joining, members receive a 25% welcome discount. The fashion retailer aims to provide a more personalized shopping experience for its 10 million identified customers.

Helen Connolly, CEO of New Look, stated, “We are continuously seeking ways to acknowledge and reward our customers better. Club New Look is our latest loyalty initiative, providing distinctive benefits to make our members feel valued, acknowledged, and motivated.”

After a successful soft launch resulting in 500,000 customer sign-ups, the company aims to reach 800,000 members by the end of the fiscal year. The national rollout aligns with the strategy to enhance the digital, personalized, and rewarding shopping journey.

In other retail news, Anthropologie, a US fashion brand, plans to open three new stores in the UK. The brand, which debuted its flagship UK store on London’s Regent Street in 2009, is expanding its presence with new locations in Liverpool, Glasgow, and Manchester.

Gap, the US clothing brand, is also making a return to the UK high street with three standalone stores. Following the closure of its last UK store in September 2021, Gap will open its flagship store in Covent Garden on November 6, along with branches in Westfield London and Wembley Park London Designer Outlet.

Additionally, Gap operates four shop-in-shop concepts in Next stores and more than 40 concessions in Next stores across England and Ireland.

The developments come as New Look shut down numerous stores this year, including 26 in the Republic of Ireland as part of its complete exit from the nation. Reports indicate that New Look may consider further store closures due to increased costs associated with minimum wage and National Insurance rates for employers. While approximately a quarter of its stores could be at risk, the company has not confirmed these reports. New Look currently operates 338 stores in the UK.
