Date:

Mowgli Street Food, a renowned restaurant chain celebrated for its lively Indian home cooking, has announced its inaugural foray into home delivery in collaboration with Uber Eats, commencing today. This marks a significant milestone for the restaurant, responding to years of customer demand.

For the first time, patrons can indulge in signature dishes from the beloved restaurant in the comfort of their homes. Food enthusiasts nationwide can now relish street food favorites like Gunpowder Chicken and house curries such as Mother Butter Chicken and Temple Dahl with just a tap on their screens.

Established in 2014 in Liverpool by Nisha Katona MBE, a former barrister turned restaurateur, Mowgli has expanded to operate 27 restaurants, renowned for serving authentic Indian cuisine on the high street.

While Mowgli’s bold and playful dishes were previously exclusive to its restaurants, the brand is now diversifying. With its expansion, a broader audience can savor its vibrant and flavor-rich food from the convenience of their homes.

Lucy Worth, the CEO, emphasized that Mowgli embodies more than just food; it symbolizes togetherness, generosity, and the pleasure of sharing flavorful and soulful dishes.

Matthew Price, Regional General Manager of UKI and Northern Europe at Uber Eats, expressed excitement about the partnership, welcoming Mowgli exclusively to Uber Eats. He highlighted the platform’s commitment to assisting Mowgli in expanding its business and reaching new clientele.
