Carey Price is set to be honored at the Bell Centre, where he will be celebrated for his Hall of Fame induction. The Montreal Canadiens announced that the event will take place on Nov. 10, following his official induction the day before.
As the 62nd member of the organization to enter the Hall of Fame, Price will also join the Bell Centre’s Ring of Honour, a prestigious recognition reserved for former players who have achieved great success in the hockey world.
Having dedicated his entire 15-year career to Montreal, Price has solidified his place in the franchise’s history books. With 712 games under his belt, he boasts an impressive 2.51 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage, holding records for most games played and victories as a goaltender for the Canadiens.
The upcoming tribute to Price will take place during a game against the Minnesota Wild, where his remarkable career will be celebrated. Notably, Price is a seven-time all-star and was selected as the fifth overall pick in the 2005 NHL Entry draft.
Looking ahead, the Canadiens will commence their pre-season on Sept. 19 and kick off their regular season on Sept. 29 in Toronto against the Maple Leafs.
