“Manhattan’s Aero 4K Set-Top Box Revolutionizes TV Viewing”

Date:

In a bid to offer more TV viewing options without monthly subscription fees, homes now have a wider array of choices. The introduction of Freely in 2024 marked the beginning of live channel access through broadband, initially limited to select new TV models. In the subsequent 18 months, a variety of TV brands like Hisense, Toshiba, and Sharp have integrated Freely into their screens. Previously, individuals interested in streaming live and on-demand content via Freely had to purchase a new television set.

Fortunately, Manhattan’s technology team has recently launched the Aero 4K set-top box, enabling users to enjoy Freely services on existing TVs. Priced at £69.99, the Aero 4K provides free access to over 60 live channels and on-demand content, eliminating the need for costly subscriptions. Notable features of the Aero 4K include voice search, content recommendations, a comprehensive TV guide, and the ability to pause live programs. Additionally, users can access popular streaming apps like Disney+ and Netflix through the device.

The Aero 4K has gained popularity, with Currys being the first UK retailer to offer it. The device quickly went out of stock, but Currys has confirmed that it will be restocked soon. Interested buyers can sign up on the Currys website to receive alerts when the product becomes available again. Furthermore, other retailers such as Amazon and John Lewis are expected to start selling the Aero 4K in the near future.

Upon restocking, the Aero 4K will compete with devices like Virgin’s Stream box and Sky Stream, all of which deliver content over the internet without the need for antennas or satellite dishes. Transitioning to streaming offers advantages like simplified installations without requiring professional assistance and regular software updates.

The TV landscape is evolving rapidly, with Freely reporting a user base exceeding one million. The trend towards streaming is expected to continue as more individuals abandon traditional viewing methods in favor of digital streaming platforms.
