A man who had suffered three heart attacks was violently attacked in a supermarket car park in Gosport, Hampshire. The victim, Chris Mcnamara, was kicked in the face “kung fu style” by an assailant who appeared to imitate Bruce Lee. The incident left Chris with bruises around his right eye and prompted him to seek medical attention at Gosport War Memorial Hospital.
According to Chris, the attacker, described as tall and slim with a shaved head, initially approached him while holding bottles of vodka and cherryade. After a brief exchange, the situation escalated, leading to the aggressive kicks. Despite calling the police for help, the assailant reportedly followed Chris and continued the assault, causing additional injuries.
Chris, who was left shaken by the incident, emphasized the unprovoked nature of the attack and the fear he experienced during the confrontation. His sister, Sarah Armitage, expressed shock and anger at the extent of Chris’s injuries, describing the attack as cowardly and unjust.
Hampshire Police is actively investigating the assault and seeking information from any witnesses. The police have released a description of the suspect and urged anyone with relevant details or dashcam footage to come forward and assist in the ongoing inquiry.
