“Man Brutally Attacked with Machete at Glasgow Bar”

A man was brutally attacked with a machete at Bells Bar in Springburn, Glasgow, while patrons watched in horror. The incident occurred on a Friday evening as customers were enjoying drinks. The assailant, wearing a hat and grey hoodie, was caught on CCTV entering the bar and pushing through patrons singing karaoke.

He approached a table and drew a footlong blade from behind his back, striking a 39-year-old man seated there. The attacker continued to assault the victim, causing blood to splatter across the walls. The victim tried to shield himself as the attacker unleashed a series of blows.

Despite the chaos, some patrons appeared unaware of the attack, engrossed in singing along to music. The victim was eventually noticed, and police were called. The injured man was rushed to Glasgow’s Royal Infirmary for treatment of severe injuries.

A witness described the incident as shocking and horrifying, emphasizing the brutality of the attack. Concerns were raised about the assailant not being apprehended yet. Police Scotland confirmed the assault and urged anyone with information to come forward.
