Luke Littler has acknowledged that managing his busy schedule has been a significant challenge amidst his rapid ascent in the world of darts. The young talent secured his first World Matchplay title, defeating James Wade 18-13 in the final, completing darts’ esteemed Triple Crown alongside the World Championship and Premier League titles.
Since emerging at the 2023/24 World Championship at just 16 years old, Littler has notched victories in the Grand Slam of Darts and the UK Open, in addition to triumphs in two Premier League campaigns. The demanding nature of the sport often requires consecutive nights of play preceding European Tour events, prompting Littler to occasionally withdraw from tournaments to ensure adequate rest.
Balancing media commitments and PR obligations, Littler’s packed schedule leaves little time for reflection on his accomplishments. Despite his remarkable success, he remains focused on the present, with upcoming engagements in World Series events in Australia and New Zealand. Looking ahead, Littler aims to conquer the World Grand Prix, European Championship, and Players Championships Finals as he eyes further major victories before the expanded World Championship kicks off on December 11.
Teaming up with KP for the ‘Nuts for Darts’ campaign, Littler invites pub owners to vie for a chance to host him for an evening of darting fun. Encouraging participation, Littler emphasized the excitement surrounding the initiative and the opportunity for a lucky pub to engage with the reigning champion firsthand.
