Kate Garraway has addressed rumors surrounding her dating life. Prior to her participation in the show Celebrity Traitors, the Good Morning Britain host shared insights into coping with life post her husband’s tragic passing.
In March 2020, Kate’s husband Derek fell ill with Covid, leading her to become his full-time caregiver while also supporting the family financially. Subsequently, Derek passed away a few years later. Since then, Kate has devoted her attention to raising their two children, Darcey and Billy.
Speculation has arisen regarding Kate’s return to the dating scene, but she has clarified her current stance on her romantic life. She affirmed that she is not currently dating as she does not feel emotionally prepared.
Addressing the dating rumors, Kate expressed amusement at the gossip surrounding her personal life. She mentioned that although she does not use Facebook, friends have informed her about rumors circulating online about her being in a relationship and having a boyfriend.

Kate is set to appear on the upcoming show Celebrity Traitors, a spin-off of the popular game show, featuring a lineup of prominent personalities striving to uncover the trustworthy participants from the potential traitors aiming to claim the prize money for themselves. The show is slated to commence in October and will include well-known figures such as Stephen Fry, Tom Daley, Clare Balding, and EastEnders’ Tameka Empson.
