Greggs has revealed the much-anticipated comeback of its Festive Bake, set to hit stores next Thursday, November 6. The popular seasonal treat features a savory blend of chicken, sage and onion stuffing, bacon, and is topped with a creamy sage and cranberry sauce.
In addition to the Festive Bake, the Vegan Lattice (Festive Edition) will also be back on shelves nationwide. This vegan option includes Quorn mycoprotein pieces, sage and onion stuffing, vegan bacon, and is finished with cranberry and red onion sauce.
The Hot Christmas Lunch Baguette, described as a portable Christmas dinner experience, will be available, packed with chicken, sage and onion stuffing, bacon, melted cheddar, cranberry relish, and onion gravy. Furthermore, the Hot Festive Flatbread is making a return, featuring sage and onion chicken mayo, bacon, and cranberry relish in a warm flatbread.
For those with a sweet tooth, Greggs will offer festive delights such as the Christmas Cake Slice, Gingerbread Muffin, Chocolate & Hazelnut Doughnut, and Christmas Mini Caramel Shortbreads. The bakery chain will also introduce a range of festive hot drinks including Mint Mocha, Mint Hot Chocolate, Gingerbread Latte, and Salted Caramel Latte, available hot or iced.
Greggs recently announced price increases on select menu items, attributing the adjustments to rising costs. The two-part breakfast deal now costs £3.15, up from £2.95, while the three-part breakfast deal, which includes a side, rose to £4.15 from £3.95. Some baked goods like the empire biscuit have also seen a 5p increase, following the 5p hike earlier this year on items like the sausage roll.
