A tragic incident unfolded as a young boy lost his life in a brutal attack by the family’s pit bull mix pet. The child, named Royal Bates, was fatally mauled by the dog named Kilo, despite previous warnings about the animal’s aggressive tendencies.
The boy’s father, Blake Bates, from Ohio, recently admitted to involuntary manslaughter a year after the devastating event. Bates and his partner, Alyssa Smith, had left the infant and another child unattended with the pit bull when the tragic incident occurred.
Emergency services arrived to find the couple in distress, with Bates emotionally distraught as they attempted to save the child. Despite immediate medical attention, the baby succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
