A dispute over an incorrect fast food order turned violent, leading to a chaotic altercation involving seven individuals inside a fast-food establishment. The incident resulted in multiple arrests and injuries.
Videos circulating on social media captured several altercations within the group, depicting individuals engaging in physical confrontations, including punching and kicking. Images following the brawl revealed bloodstains on the seating areas and floor of the fast food outlet.
Law enforcement officials have confirmed that seven people were taken into custody and charged with assault causing bodily harm in connection with the incident.
In response to the incident, a parent of one of the individuals involved in the altercation posted a video on Facebook. The video shared by Rebecca Noel highlighted the misunderstanding that triggered the violence, emphasizing that the situation should not have escalated to such extreme levels.
According to details provided by the San Antonio Police Department to PEOPLE, the altercation occurred around 3 am on Sunday, October 5, at the 14600 block of Blanco Road in San Antonio, Texas.
This incident is not an isolated case related to fast food disputes. Earlier this year, a notable incident unfolded at a McDonald’s branch due to a mistaken order, culminating in a large-scale altercation. Videos and photos of the incident were circulated on Instagram, showcasing a woman throwing a drink at the counter, prompting a retaliatory response from the staff.
Witnesses observed other customers initially observing and laughing, but eventually, more individuals became involved in the altercation. The conflict intensified, involving items like drinks, fries, burgers, and ice cream being thrown around before ending when a container of straws was overturned, scattering them across the counter and floor.
On social media, individuals reacted humorously to the incident, with one person joking about the need for team-building activities for the employees and another remarking on the absence of a toy in the Happy Meal.
