“Child Hospitalized After Dog Attack in West London Park”

Date:

A young child was swiftly taken to the hospital with severe injuries following a dog attack at a local park. The owner reportedly fled the scene before authorities arrived, leaving the three-year-old girl requiring treatment for significant leg wounds. The incident occurred around 12:50 pm in Rectory Fields, West London.

Law enforcement has not made any arrests yet and is urging anyone with relevant information to come forward. A spokesperson from the Metropolitan Police disclosed that the child was hospitalized for severe leg injuries sustained during the attack. The dog’s owner is said to have left the area before police intervention, with no arrests made at this time.

Authorities are appealing to the public for details about the dog owner or witnesses to the incident. Anyone with relevant information is encouraged to contact the Metropolitan Police via 101, quoting reference number 01/8008839/25.

This event follows a similar incident two months prior, where another three-year-old girl was viciously attacked by a dog outside a primary school. The child suffered severe skin injuries and required plastic surgery after the dog’s owner fled the scene. Kent Police are actively investigating the incident.

The father of the girl described the harrowing experience, stating that the dog suddenly attacked his daughter as they were walking home from school. Witnesses assisted the family, but the dog owner left abruptly without providing any information. The injured child was promptly taken to the hospital for treatment and later transferred for further care.

The father mentioned that his daughter, still shaken from the ordeal, will need follow-up medical appointments to assess the extent of the injuries. He expressed concern over the safety of other children and emphasized the need for responsible pet ownership to prevent such incidents in the future.
