“British Boxing Icon Ricky Hatton Found Dead at 46”

After the tragic passing of British boxing icon Ricky Hatton, his body was discovered by police. The news of his death at the age of 46 was confirmed in a statement. Hatton, known as “The Hitman,” had been preparing for a comeback to the boxing ring in December. He was set to attend the Manchester derby between Manchester City and Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium, a match that now includes a planned minute’s applause in his honor.

Hatton, a devoted Manchester City supporter, had made arrangements for a table in the hospitality section for the game. His lifeless body was found at his residence in Hyde, Greater Manchester. Authorities stated that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
