Moreover, Apple TV saw a substantial increase in engagement, with users spending 36% more time watching content like Slow Horses and The Studio compared to the previous year. The platform expanded its library with new shows and movies, such as the F1 film featuring Brad Pitt and the popular drama Pluribus.
The App Store also had a successful year, boasting over 850 million average weekly users globally. During the holiday season, the store witnessed a surge in visitors, resulting in record customer spending on digital goods and services.
Apple Podcasts also saw remarkable growth, achieving record listenership, plays, and subscribers. Additionally, Apple introduced enhancements to Apple Fitness+ and Apple Arcade, making these services available in more regions and adding new games to the collection.
Furthermore, Apple expanded its Share Item Location feature in Find My to include 27 additional airlines, improving the tracking of luggage. Apple Maps introduced the Detailed City Experience to new locations like New Orleans, Singapore, and Monaco, offering detailed 3D landmarks.
