“Android Users Urged to Update Devices Immediately to Fix Critical Vulnerabilities”

Date:

Android users are urged to promptly update their devices as Google has fixed critical vulnerabilities in its operating system. The latest release addresses a total of 124 security flaws, including a zero-day exploit that poses a significant risk. This type of exploit is considered severe as hackers have already been exploiting it in the wild.

To safeguard their devices, Android users are advised to install the latest software update. Google highlighted the importance of this update in its recent security bulletin, mentioning the potential exploitation of CVE-2025-48595. While the extent of the impact remains uncertain, updating to the newest version of Android is crucial to prevent future attacks.

Google’s Pixel devices will receive the update first, followed by other manufacturers like Samsung in the coming days. Users can check for pending updates by navigating to Settings, System Update on their devices. After downloading the update, a device restart is required for installation. Once completed, users can continue using their devices without security concerns.
