“Doddington Hall Voted Top UK Pumpkin Picking Spot Again”

Date:

Doddington Hall and Gardens near Lincoln has been named the top pumpkin picking destination in the UK for the third consecutive year by Outdoor Toys. The ranking was based on factors like entry fees, location, social media presence, and search data. Doddington Hall scored 9.49, outshining competitors including Tapnell Farm, Millets Farm Centre, and Lathcoats Farm.

One key factor in Doddington Hall’s popularity is that both adults and children can pick pumpkins for free, only paying for the pumpkins they take home. Visitors can enjoy the picturesque surroundings without any cost if they choose not to purchase pumpkins.

Joe Griffin from Lincolnshire Live praised Doddington Hall’s beauty and variety of pumpkins, squash, and gourds, with prices starting at £3. He highlighted the annual golden bottom competition where winners receive a free pumpkin, a family ticket to Christmas in the Hall, and a homegrown Christmas tree. Doddington Hall offers a full-day experience with activities like browsing the Farm Shop, visiting the Bauble Barn, enjoying meals at the Farm Shop Café, and taking autumn walks on the estate grounds.

The pumpkin patch at Doddington Hall is open from 1 to 31 October, from 10 am to 4 pm daily, while supplies last. Pumpkins are available starting at £4.
