“Maura Higgins Hosts Love Island Games in Fiji”

Date:

Maura Higgins shared stunning photos from the Love Island Games set in Fiji this week. The Irish reality TV star, known for hosting the Love Island spin-off’s post-show recap, also humorously mentioned her experience on I’m A Celeb and her encounters with Fiji’s wildlife.

The second season of the Love Island Games kicked off on September 16, gathering former Islanders from around the world in Fiji for another shot at love. Contestants engage in recoupling, face eliminations, and encounter unexpected twists that intensify the competition.

Having guest hosted episodes in the first season, Maura now hosts Love Island Games: Aftersun. During her time on set this week, she flaunted a striking black and silver two-piece outfit accentuating her toned abs, complemented by a sleek ponytail and fringe.

In a behind-the-scenes clip, Maura shared a moment where a bug landed on her shoulder during a photoshoot, causing her to react comically. Referencing her I’m A Celeb experience, she playfully captioned the video: “And I did the jungle.”

Maura rose to fame in 2019 as a Love Island bombshell. Despite a brief love triangle with Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague, she made it to the final with Curtis Pritchard. Since then, Maura has appeared as an agony aunt on This Morning, competed on Dancing on Ice, and served as a guest panelist on Loose Women.

In November 2024, Maura joined the cast of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! She entered on the fifth day with Reverend Richard Coles and was later voted out, while Richard advanced to the final, ultimately won by McFly’s Danny Jones.

The upcoming season of I’m A Celeb on ITV has yet to reveal its lineup, but rumors suggest personalities like Nick Ferrari, Lisa Riley from Emmerdale, Shona McGarty from EastEnders, and social media star Angry Ginge are set to participate.

The inclusion of Angry Ginge in the lineup has sparked controversy among other social media influencers who feel overlooked by ITV. Reports indicate discontent among influencers who have been in talks with the network for years, feeling overshadowed by newcomers like Angry Ginge.

ITV declined to comment on speculation surrounding the contestants.
