Nothing, the UK tech brand, is known for its frequent product releases. Since its debut in 2022, Nothing has introduced a range of devices including Android phones, smartwatches, and earbuds. The latest addition to their lineup is the Headphone Pro, marking their venture into over-the-ear headphones.
Distinct from Nothing’s typical aesthetic, the CMF brand, previously a budget sub-brand, now stands independently with the Headphone Pro. While lacking the premium feel of Nothing’s products, CMF products have their own unique style, with a design that omits the translucent casing found in other Nothing devices.
Although the Headphone Pro may not suit everyone’s taste, their unconventional appearance caught the attention of many, including myself. Beyond looks, their audio performance is commendable. Featuring tactile controls, including a rare bass-boost slide button, the Headphone Pro offers a customizable listening experience.
The active noise cancellation (ANC) of the Headphone Pro effectively blocks out consistent background noise, though sudden loud sounds can penetrate. Priced at £79 on the Nothing website, these headphones offer a compelling package for both Android and iOS users. While they may not match the features of Sony or Bose headphones, their affordability sets them apart in the market.
