As the colder season approaches, many people are gearing up with cozy dressing gowns and blankets as temperatures drop. One popular brand known for its oversized wearable blankets that combine the comfort of blankets and dressing gowns is Oodie.
Apart from their well-known products, Oodie also offers its own range of weighted blankets. I recently had the opportunity to try out Oodie’s weighted blanket, and I was pleasantly surprised by its performance. It proved to be a great companion during a rough bout of food poisoning, kept me warm on chilly nights, and significantly improved my sleep quality.
Upon receiving the weighted blanket, I was impressed by the packaging, which included a premium-feel cotton bag. The blanket itself boasts a glass bead core and seven layers of high-quality material, evident when unpacking and using it.
The blanket is luxuriously soft, plush, and has a satisfying weight to it. Oodie provides a variety of options in terms of weight and colors, ranging from 4.5kg to 9kg and featuring shades like grey, pink, and green. However, one minor drawback for me was the material choice of minky polyester for all their weighted blankets, which I personally don’t prefer. It would be beneficial if Oodie could offer customization options to align with their diverse design range.
The quality and substantial weight of the blanket are remarkable. The added weight and comfort have significantly enhanced my sleep experience, making it easier for me to drift off at night. Despite its benefits, the price point of £109 (currently discounted to £69) may be a deterrent for some, especially when compared to more affordable alternatives in the market.
Overall, I have developed a strong affinity for the Oodie weighted blanket. It has proven to be a reliable companion, aiding in my sleep and providing comfort during challenging times. With its sturdy build, cozy feel, and range of color options, the Oodie weighted blanket stands out as a premium choice for those willing to invest in a quality sleep accessory.
