However, tensions arose between Stacey and Joe when he presented her with a Mother’s Day gift intended to support her journey. Joe gave her a calorie counting scale, believing it would aid her “health kick,” but Stacey was unimpressed. She expressed her disapproval, stating that she would never monitor her calorie intake.
Stacey, a mother of five, including children with Joe and from previous relationships, previously discussed her insecurities about wearing bikinis. Despite this, she confidently shared stunning photos of herself enjoying a waterfall during the summer. In an honest Instagram post, she revealed her pride in her consistent weight training efforts since February, aiming to achieve physical strength.
Acknowledging the changes in her body, Stacey emphasized the importance of strength over appearance. She encouraged others not to focus solely on physical aesthetics but to prioritize fitness for functional purposes, like being able to handle various physical challenges.
Stacey transformed a barn at her Pickle Cottage into a gym following the birth of her daughter Rose. She received support from her sister, Samantha, a personal trainer, throughout her fitness journey.
Although Stacey admitted finding exercise challenging and feeling exhausted during workouts, she highlighted the satisfaction and empowerment she gains afterward.
